Objectives

How might we enhance the landscape of Guimarães for tourism and recreation, improving accessibility, visitor experience, community engagement and local governance while preserving natural, cultural, or social values, and considering its role in the wider city network?

Guiding questions

  1. How can Penha Mount be managed to balance tourism, recreation, and ecological conservation?
  2. What interventions could enhance the visitor experience while promoting sustainable mobility and accessibility?
  3. How might the mountain’s natural and cultural assets be integrated into broader city tourism strategies?
